Brandon & Regina BellDominican Republic
We are Brandon and Regina Bell, missionaries to the Dominican Republic with Baptist Home Missions. We, along with our sons Anthony and Patrick, are serving in the city of Puerto Plata, Dominican Republic and helping to establish Bible teaching, Baptist churches in this city. We are part of a missionary team sent out by Maranatha Baptist Church in Winston-Salem, NC. Our teammates Adam and Jodi Pittman arrived here on the field in August 2015 and we are praying that the rest of our team would be able to raise the needed support and arrive here on the field soon to help us. In August of 2016 we will return home for a 6 month furlough after completing our first two year term on the field.

Branden & Laura BowenServing in Madagascar
We are church planters working in Maintirano to plant autonomous churches to reach other villages of Madagascar. The Malagasy people trust their deceased ancestors as intermediaries to God. Malagasy Christians were violently persecuted in 1800s, and now many in Madagascar have never heard the Gospel. Agriculture and fishing are the main industries of this country which is struggling to develop with a weak economy, unstable government, and much poverty.

Barry & Judy ByRneFlorida
The ministry in which I was before COVID-19 included going into the County Jail on Monday afternoons and Thursday afternoons. I would spend 2- 2 1/2 hours each visit. When I would meet a new inmate, my first goal was to find out where he was spiritually and share the Gospel with him, if he was not saved. After salvation, I would start him on a series of New Converts lessons. After finishing that series, I would move him up to ROGMA (Rod of God. . . ). It is now called Christian Discipleship International (CDI). I was working with 12 - 15 men. These men were in two different cell blocks and six different cells. I received word yesterday (May 31, 2020) that I would soon be permitted back in the jail, however the ministry would be through closed-circuit television. I'm not as thrilled as I would be if I were able to be face to face, but I am trusting the Lord to bless in His way.

Tim & Pam DarlingSpain
Our first 29 years of missionary service were spent in Venezuela, South American. The Lord gave us the joy and privilege of working with Venezuelans to establish churches, youth and camp ministries and a Bible Institute. When we left on December 13, 2009, trained Venezuelans were in place to take charge of different ministries.
We arrived in Spain on November 11, 2010 to begin something entirely new for us. The first 18 months we helped in a church plant in the Salamanca area as well as learned to adapt in a new culture and a new way of speaking the "mother tongue." Now, our main ministry is with Baptist Bible Seminary of Spain coordinating and teaching classes in the Madrid area. |
Jake & Joy DeWaldServing in the Dominican Republic
We are missionaries sent by Heritage Hills Baptist Church to Puerto Plata, Dominican Republic. We are a part of a five-family team seeking to plant Baptist churches in the northern provinces of the D.R. As a team we plan to begin a Bible institute where we can train Dominican pastors. Our goal is to eventually plant more churches along side nationals. Included in our outreach are children and teen ministries. Because we need young believers to train for the work in church planting, much of our current effort is directed toward ministry with young people. We are now finishing deputation, and we hope to arrive on the field in Spring/Summer of 2018. If you would like to know more about us, please visit our website at drdewalds.com. |
Cindy FaileFor 35 years, Cindy has been serving in church planting in Mali, a mostly Islamic country, through evangelism and discipleship as well as helping churches develop their children, youth, and women’s ministries, curriculum development, and teacher training. She is heavily involved in women’s ministries through teaching and mentoring. The focus of her ministry is theological training of national leaders. She is a professor at a four-year Bible institute in Mali, and one in Benin. She also teaches at the local seminary in Mali. Along with these professorial ministries, she directs and teaches two women’s programs at the two Bible institutes. The Lord has blessed Cindy and has given her many children in the faith through the years all to the glory of God.

Cleverson & Stefanie FariaServing in the Dominican Republic
On September 17, 2007, we arrived in the Dominican Republic as full-time missionaries. In cooperation with our teammates, our goal is to plant churches, evangelize the lost, disciple the flock, train nationals to reach their own people, and build a camp. There is also a great ministry to be done among the Haitians who have relocated in the DR to escape poverty in their own country. As of the summer of 2019, we are on furlough visiting our churches and raising more support.

Charles & Gai JewellCentral African Republic
Charlie and Gail have been missionaries in CAR since 1989. We served our first 14 years at Bangassou, teaching in their Bible School and ministering in the churches of the Bangassou area. In 2002, because of 2 civil wars that caused missionaries not to return, we moved to Bangui and Charlie became the head of the mission in CAR and finance officer. We continue to work with churches, Bible Schools, and our medical ministries, all over CAR. We are very Thankful to our Lord that He has found us worthy to continue in ministry for His Honor and His Glory in the CAR.

Dr. Billy & Barbara MartinEvangelism in the USA
Churches both large and small, mission fields both near and far have opened their doors and hearts to the Martins for ministries in evangelism and Biblical exposition. It has been said: "Evangelistic unction makes orthodoxy function." It was the Risen Christ who gave the office of the evangelist to the local church. It is our calling to continue with His enabling in the train of His triumph! The Lord of the harvest has made it possible for us to take this faith ministry throughout the US and Canada as well as to over forty other countries. A major part of our outreach has been enrichment conferences and Pastor Prayer Advances for Christian workers. We would be honored to have your fellowship in prayer for our stewardship in the fields that are white unto harvest. Billy S. Martin |
James & Lauren PeavyServing in the Dominican republic
We are James and Lauren Peavy serving in city of La Romana in the Dominican Republic. We have three children. James loves fishing and Lauren is an excellent baker. Michael collects trains and superheroes, Caroling is obsessed with unicorns and princesses, and Katherine is still our baby.
We moved to the field in January 2017 to be a part of the ministry with Seminario Bautista Internacional. James serves as the academic dean, in the IT department and as a professor. This ministry is vital to the churches of the Dominican Republic as many pastors serve without formal training and there is a lack of qualified men to lead church planting efforts. We firmly believe the the church of Christ grows through the clear exposition and teaching of the Word of God. In conjunction with the seminary ministry, we serve in local church ministries. James preaches and teaches and Lauren leads the Wednesday night children’s program. We are also involved as a family in the ministry to the Bethesda Orphanage, a ministry of the local church. |
Adam & Jodi PittmanDominican Republic

JAMES & JOYCE sECHRESTHaving been in Bible-believing churches as children, Joyce and I were both saved as children. After we were married. I felt the call to preach. I pastored for 26 years. In 2009, God began dealing with each of us concerning replacing missionaries who need to come home on furlough. We both surrendered and in 2019 went to both Italy and Argentina replacing missionaries who were in the states on furlough. Now in 2020, we are continuing deputation to raise the needed monthly support to carry on this ministry full time. There is a great need. As the Holy Spirit is described as "One called alongside to help," so our ministry of furlough replacement is one of "coming alongside to help."

Peter & Gail TiddWe are Peter and Gail Tidd. God called us into full time missionary service in 1995 after serving for 20 years both pastoring and teaching in Christian schools. Our first place of missionary service was Venezuela (1995-2009). When political upheaval prevented our return there, God opened doors for us to plant a Hispanic church in Spanish Fork, UT (2010-2016). In 2022, we accepted a position for Furlough Replacement and will be filling in various ministries around the world.

Paul & Laurel TimblinArizona & Mexico
We have been with UIM Aviation since 2004. Our focus is using airplanes to fly into remote villages in the mountains of Mexico to share the gospel of Christ with the tribal people. Paul is the Director of Maintenance. He uses his detailed mechanical and organizational skills to keep the planes flying safely in and out of these rough airstrips in the mountains. As Director of Maintenance, Paul is also part of the administrative team of UIM Aviation.

Don & LeAnne WaiteSlovakia
We have been serving with Baptist Mid-Missions in Slovakia since May of 2001. Building up the Baptist church in Kezmorak through evangelism and discipleship is the focus of our ministry. In addition to regular services and fellowship events, this includes a children's and youth ministry as well as individual and small group Bible studies. For the past seven years we have been involved in outreach through teaching English as a second language. Some classes we teach in our home, and for some we go to businesses in our area. |
